Who can attend the clinic?
The clinic is open to all who would like to be examined for and/or get advice about sexually transmitted infections. To get examined you must make an appointment.
Anonymity
You can get tested and have your results, without using your cpr,nr or if you don't have a cpr.nr. If treatment is needed the clinic must know your cpr.nr.
The clinic dose not send notifications to your GP.
Which kinds of tests are available?
At the clinic it is possible to be tested for sexually transmitted infections e.g.:
- Condylomas (genital warts)
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Genital herpes
- HIV
- Hepatitis B and C
- Trichomoniasis
- Syphilis
- Lymphogranuloma venereum
Examination and treatment in the clinic will be conducted by either a doctor or a nurse.
The incubation period.
There is a period from the time you had unprotected sex until the infection can be detected through tests. This period varies depending on the infection:
- Gonorrhoea 1 week
- Chlamydia approximately 3 weeks
- HIV 1 month
- Syphilis 3 months
Test result
Usually all test results will be available within 5 working days.
The reslts will be accesable on the app "MinSP" or by calling the clinic.
