Københavns Stressforskningscenter byder velkommen til årets Stressforskningskonference
I år skal vi høre to keynote speakere:
Alex Burdorf. Professor. Department of Public Health, Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Title: When is the evidence enough to target better working conditions?
Prof. Dr. Burdorf will discuss how observational studies on associations between strenuous working conditions and mental health disorders will guide evidence for improvements in the workplace. He will argue that debates on causality and uncertainty should not paralyze us from promoting interventions to provide safer and healthier workplaces.
Birgit Aust. Senior Researcher. National Research Centre for the Working Environment, Copenhagen, Denmark. Title: Psychosocial work environment interventions: A story of successes or failures?
Research evidence indicates that adverse psychosocial working conditions can negatively impact workers' health. However, intervention studies that aim to improve the psychosocial work environment are often challenged and seem to be not very successful. But is that true? This presentation will review the evidence on successes and failures of psychosocial work environment interventions, reflect on the biggest challenges and discuss pathways for moving forward.
The final program will be e-mailed to all registred participants and published in September.
